Why Google Pixel Can Be Your Next Smartphone

Pixel by Google

Google just announced a new phone, successor to their Nexus range of phone and they are calling it the Pixel. Definitely the phone should have something to do with the camera or the display(as the name suggests). And that’s what it is.

Bringing some awesome power with a stunning camera built-in(no need of mods btw).

The Pixel range has two phones: the 5-inch Pixel and 5.5-inch Pixel XL. Don’t worry, its only the screen and battery size upgrade for the XL version.

So, what does it have to be your next smartphone?

Well, everything (and the headphone jack too).

The phone is the first to come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor, coupled with 4GB of RAM, 12MP rear shooter and fingerprint sensor.

Both the phones run on Android 7.1 Nougat with the new Google Assistant built-in to the home button.

Not enough? OK. Try this.

The phone is made entirely by Google. No handset partners. The company has ventured in to phone making so that it can “push the boundaries of what’s possible with a smartphone”.(#Google Blog)

Pixel also comes with unlimited Google Photos storage. Now you can even save your 4K videos for free.

India launch:

The phone will be available for pre-order from October 13 and the pricing is starting at Rs. 57000. You can get the phone from Flipkart, Reliance Digital, and Croma, as well as smaller retailers, with a retail availability of “end of October” according to Google.
